I uploaded this, almost sarcastic, post on Instagram shortly after hearing of Betty’s passing. I heard it on a live YouTube discussion that I happened to be listening to. As usual, I thought it was false. False because especially after the beginning of the pandemic, everything ended… at least Betty White is still alive. Now we can’t say that. Betty is gone now and so are the Golden Girls. Who would have thought the last Golden Girls would make it this long back in the 80s and 90s? We were very lucky, let’s not forget that!
We’ll miss you greatly Betty. Thanks again for everything. (I’m not going to say what you thought I would say)
