Yes, there haven’t been any shows added lately, but no reason to give up hope. Just sit tight and we’ll see what happens. Remember, I have no inside info, so there is no reason to email me asking for it! That’s why I have this site… no secrets, it’s all here… in all of it’s horrible usage of English grammar 🙂

And now some news bits and reminders ::

In other related news, found by the Mr. Alex Google himself…

“A special dedication of a plaque to the Golden Girls series will be held on the original Sunset Gower Studio sound stage in Los Angeles Thursday afternoon, May 4, 2006, with cast members Bea Arthur, Estelle Getty, Rue McClanahan, Betty White, guest stars and other members of the Golden GirlsTV family invited to attend, according to series producers Paul Witt, Tony Thomas, Susan Harris, and Sunset Gower CEO Robert Papazian who will also host a cast reunion and luncheon.
Golden Girls ran on NBC television from 1985 until 1992 in its Saturday night time slot and was an immediate hit for the network. It brought to the TV screen one of the first representations of working, energetic women in their senior years, functioning as a family, sharing their daily lives and dreams, together”.

[update 04.19.06] Golden Girls cast reunion will be at 11:30am at the Sunset Gower Studios in Los Angeles. The stalking phone number is 310.248.4478. Cast members honored at luncheon and dedication series sound stage [/update]

Bea will be a part of a new movie titled “Broadway Beyond the Golden Age” by Rick McKay which is slated for completion in 2007.

Now, something a little different….
Bea provided the voice of the Magic Fairy in “The Velveteen Rabbit,” a new musical based on the classic story by Margery Williams; Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts Sacred Heart University, Connecticut Family Theatre October 24 – November 4, 2006. Check out this article/blog… somebody was actually nice to me! Rare indeed! (just kidding, I love you all)

Ok, I checked in 🙂 Hope you are all enjoying Season 1-4 in the meantime on DVD… I know I am more than you could ever imagine… they are helping me get through some hard times in life… just as they did in the 80s and 90s… that is why we appreciate Bea and the gang, right! So it’s all worth it! Take care all!
